I am launching this fundraiser as a last hope to raise money to get my son to virginia. As many may not know him, his dream has always been to become a proffesional baseball player. His dream got side swiped by some bumps in the road. He left his familys side missing birthdays,christmas's,mothers day etc.to travel to the Domincan Republic in search of hard training, a better life and an opportunity to make it. Now, he has been offered the greatest opportunity; the type that only comes once. A chanceto play baseball for a summer league in virginia (world babseball league for the vmarlins) the moment he has been waiting for with a chance to get into 1 of several colleges that have seen his video once he is finished. My son traded the streets for a dream one that i am hopeing everyone can find it in there heart to help me achieve. The cost is $1600.00 to get him there it includes all his food hotel and travel for the summer.
