On Ventilator - Prayers Needed

Though we are filled with the sadness of separation, we are overwhelmed by the love that everyone of you has shown through your attendance, your comforting words, your prayers and finally your financial support.
In time Lisa will find her own words, but we see the Lord's hand in all of it and I see that she is touched and feels supported in her grief.

FUNERAL SERVICE INFORMATION UPDATE:
For further clarification, we would like to share that the wake and funeral service is open to family, friends, and the body of Christ. The only rules we would like to stress, if you've been ill or have been around someone who is ill, if you have been running a fever, have a cough, please view the services online instead. Masks will be handed out upon entering, due to Knox County regulations. We also ask that you sit with your own families.

Hello brothers and sisters, friends and family. I write to you with a very heavy heart. My brother in law, Iosif Irasoc, has been taken very ill with the effects of Covid-19 and influenza B. He went from not feeling very well and visited the doctor for some antibiotics and steroids for a "pneumonia" diagnosis to full on Covid and flu with a non-rebreather in one day.
This morning at 2:30 in the morning the doctors face-timed my sister Lisa, for what they thought would be the last time. He then coded. My sister sat on video chat while the doctors struggled to revive him. Once revived the doctors told her to encourage him and wake the children to see him. My sister gathered all the strength and bravery she could to encourage him that everyone in the community near and far was sending their supplications to the Lord and that he was in their hearts. She told him she loved him and he told her: "honey I can't do it, I can't breathe". They proceed to intubate him, with semi-conscious sedation . This morning around 7 he pulled his own intubation tube out and his oxygen barreled down to 20. They proceeded to give him a paralytic to keep him from moving again. He is now on a ventilator, the machine is breathing for him. The doctors are slowly preparing my sister with the very possibility of him not making it. They want to get him transferred to Vanderbuilt, in Nashville, that has an "echmo" machine but it's based on survivability and need. So far they haven't had any indication that this will be possible for him. My sister Lisa quite possibly has Covid too as she cannot taste or smell. She is in isolation with their three children. She cannot go see him all she can do is pray and wait by her phone, dreading the news every time in rings. I hate to bring up the issue of the financial aspects, but my brother in law is self employed and is uninsured. I would like to raise some funds to give her the smallest peace of mind possible. Most of all we would like your prayers. Our God is a good and faithful God. He is an all powerful mighty God. He can perform miracles.
Salutari frați și surori, prieteni și familie. Vă scriu cu durere in suflet. Cumnatul meu, Iosif Irasoc, s-a îmbolnăvit foarte grav dupa efectlor de Covid-19 și gripa B. A progresat de la, a nu se simți foarte bine și a vizitat medicul pentru câteva antibiotice și steroizi pentru un diagnostic de „pneumonie”, la a fi internat cu non re-breather, doar intr-o singura zi.
Astazi dimineață, la 2:30 am, medicii au contactat-o pe sora mea Lisa, pe face-time, pentru ceea ce credeau că va fi ultima dată. Apoi a cedat inima. Sora mea a stat la videochat, în timp ce medicii s-au străduit să-l trezeasca. Odată ce au reusit, medicii i-a spus Lisei să-l încurajeze și să trezească copiii să-l vadă. Sora mea a strâns toată puterea pe care a putut pentru a-l încuraja ...ca toți cei din comunitatea din apropiere și de departe inalta rugăciuni către Domnul și că el este în gandul lor.
Ea i-a spus că îl iubește și el i-a spus: „dragă nu mai pot, nu pot respira”. Atunci doctorii la intubat, cu sedare semi-conștientă. În această dimineață, în jurul orei 7, și-a scos propriul tub de intubație și oxigenul său s-a redus la 20. Au procedat să-i dea un paralitic pentru a-l împiedica să se miște din nou. Medicii o pregătesc încet pe sora mea cu posibilitatea ca el nu va reusii. Vor să-l transfere într-un spital care are o mașină „echmo”, dar se bazează pe rata de supraviețuire și nevoie. Până acum nu au avut niciun indiciu că acest lucru va fi posibil pentru el. La momentul de fata Iosif este pe ventilator, si machina respira pentru el.
Sora mea Lisa cell mai probabil are si ea Covid, deoarece nu poate gusta sau mirosi deloc. Ea este in izolare cu cei trei copii ai lor. Nu poate merge să-l vadă tot ce poate face este să se roage și să stea așteptand la telefon, tremurand de fiecare data de vestea care o va aude. Nu asi vrea să aduc problema aspectelor financiare, dar cumnatul meu este self employed și nu este asigurat. Aș dori să strâng niște fonduri pentru a-i oferi cea mai mică liniște sufletească posibilă. Cel mai mult am dori rugăciunile voastre. Dumnezeul nostru este un Dumnezeu bun și credincios. El este un Dumnezeu puternic . El poate să facă minuni.
