Olivia’s road to recovery

On September 3rd, our lives changed forever. Oli was on her way home with her daughter from soccer practice when a coward driver of a pick up truck rear ended them at full speed on the highway.  He fled the scene on foot after he was helped out of his pickup.

The car accident was horrible and Oli suffered major spinal cord injuries. Doctors said it was a miracle she survived. She is currently in stable condition at Fresno Community Hospital, and she will be transferred to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in the next week to start her rehabilitation. 

This has left us with a big hole in our hearts and tested our faith to the very maximum.

We’re  faithfully prepared for the long road ahead of us. Our Oli, has the biggest, sweetest heart and the determination to overcome this. With God’s will and our prayers and support she will return to life stronger than ever.  We humbly ask for any donations that will help our family in this long road of rehabilitation we are about to begin. We also ask for prayers for her full recovery.

El 3 de septiembre, nuestras vidas cambiaron para siempre. Olivia se dirigía a casa con su hija después de la práctica de fútbol cuando un cobarde conductor de una camioneta chocó contra ellas a toda velocidad en la carretera. Huyó de la escena a pie después de que lo ayudaron a salir de su camioneta. El accidente automovilístico fue horrible y Oli sufrió graves lesiones en la médula espinal. Los médicos dijeron que fue un milagro que ella sobreviviera.

Esto nos ha dejado un gran agujero en nuestros corazones y ha puesto a prueba nuestra fe al máximo. Estamos fielmente preparados para el largo camino que tenemos por delante. Nuestra Oli tiene el corazón más grande y dulce y la determinación de superar esto. Con la voluntad de Dios y nuestras oraciones, ella volverá a la vida más fuerte que nunca. Humildemente pedimos cualquier donación que ayude a nuestra familia en este largo camino de rehabilitación que estamos a punto de comenzar.
