Oakhill 9U Mustang FORCE is preparing to make history! Team FORCE has what it takes, that extra special "magic": to watch this team play makes one think it's MLB-level play, seriously! Yes, they are THAT good, and the players are only 9 years old!!!
Our journey thus far: the FORCE boasted an undefeated record in all preliminary tournaments of the All-Star season. Again undefeated, FORCE took 1st place in the local Regional Championships in Hays/Buda, TX. Placing 3rd at Super Regionals in Boerne, TX over the 4th of July weekend, the FORCE qualified to advance to the PONY South Zone Championships in Youngsville, LA (7/17-7/21), where they will play at a brand-new state-of-art facility!
What this fundraiser is all about: The FORCE is made up of "regular" families: we all work & support our children for the love of them & their love of baseball. The FORCE is not a Select or Elite team, we are a "rec" team that is incredible! We are soliciting your support & financial donations to help make the FORCE's dreams come true (that will become forever memories of the best season of their lives)!!!
The estimated cost per player is $1000 for the 5-day Zone Championships, not including support for multiple-children families. The FORCE is comprised of 12 awesome families: We're hoping to defray these costs, especially as the FORCE may qualify for the trip to the World Series in California!
Stay tuned for updates on the FORCE's journey... We will hopefully need to extend this broadcast, renewing a financial request for the World Series (July 27-29)!
