I teach Spanish in a small, rural community with limited resources, and I am taking a group of students on a volunteer service trip to Ecuador this summer. We will be volunteering in orphanages there through a nonprofit organization called Orphanage Support Services Organization (OSSO), which is based out of Rexburg, Idaho. If you want to learn more about them, their website is www.orphanagesupport.org.
As volunteers for OSSO, we will help take care of the orphans by doing things like: changing diapers, feeding kids, playing with kids, teaching classes, helping with physical therapy, shopping for groceries, and doing anything else we are asked to do.
It will be helpful to us if you can donate by May 22nd, 2015, but if we don't raise enough money by then, we will still need donations clear up until the end of July.
If you would like to donate directly to us instead of donating through this website, feel free to contact me to find out how to do so. Also, feel free to contact me with any questions you have about the trip.
Thank you for considering our request!
