Hi. My name is Nyle Kibbe. I am a proud alum of Willowridge High School and the University of Houston, both located in Houston, Texas. I am a tech junkie and love sports, more specifically football.  Hook Em Horns!  Go Coogs!!!!
In 2006, I was diagnosed with a rare inflammatory disease of unknown cause or cure called Sarcoidosis.  Sarcoidosis can present in any organ in the body. For me, I have it in my lungs, kidneys, and spleen. Sarcoidosis has permanently scarred my lungs and has reduced my lung capacity. I find it difficult to walk in stores or stand for extended periods of time without becoming severely fatigued. I am approximately 100-120 pounds overweight and have what us on prednisone call "moon face".  My face is rounded out and my head is actually larger now (think Barry Bonds, lol). The medications used to treat the disease are hard on the human body.  I've had a total left hip joint replacement in 2008 and a partial right shoulder joint replacement in 2009.  The medications also leave my immune system compromised and leave me suspectible to infection. I am treating constantly with infectious disease specialists to control the infections. I've also had two cervical fusion surgeries over the course of the past 15 years.  The cervical surgeries are not Sarcoidosis related, but are a byproduct of rapid degenerative changes in my spine.  With the arthritis from the joint replacements and fusions, I am in constant pain. Due to the plethora of medical conditions, I find it next to impossible to work on a consistent basis.  Thankfully, I'm able to live with my mother who is a widow.  Last year, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and is now in remission. We are there to support each other in all that we do but  she can only do so much.  I can only do so much. One week after finding out my mother was Cancer free, I received some disturbing news.

I was diagnosed with neuroendocrine Carcinoid Tumor in my duodenum in February of 2015. Being that I'm already disabled, I will have a difficult time paying for treatment related to this diagnosis. Although I have insurance, the co-pays, deductibles and other ancillary expenses such as parking, medication management, etc will be too much to handle on my own.   I need your help.  I am humbly asking for any assistance you may be able to provide. Thank you in advance for your support.
