ESCF North Going Gold for Gabriel!
Donation protected
This is my buddy Gabriel! He is a sweet, gentle 5 year old who loves dinosaur chicken nuggets, building stuff, babies, making people smile, scary movies, and his twin brother Michael. Oh and he dabs better than Cam ;-).
In December 2016 he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma and is fighting like a champ.
On September 23, Empire State CrossFit North will host our 4th annual Going Gold for Pediatric Cancer Awareness Event. We will be raising funds for Gabriel as we take on the workout Hope. The first heat kicks off at 8am, please join us or come cheer us on, and please consider a donation!
Neuroblastoma is a cancerous tumor that begins in nerve tissue of young children, usually beginning in the abdomen or adrenal glands. Abnormal nerve cells may be present before birth, but the diagnosis isn't made until the cells begin to multiply, forming a tumor. Neuroblastoma is most commonly diagnosed in children less than 5 years of age and is very rare after the age of 10.
Empire State CrossFit North is located at 2050 East Main Street, Cortlandt Manor, NY.
