Our Schools Rock-July 4th on Normal Ave.

The Normal Avenue 4th of July shindig has become a potentially-annual tradition in North Chattanooga...well, we did it once and it was really fun, so for 2014, we're bringing it back and going big!
This year, we're closing down Normal Avenue (between Orr and Garnett), rolling in some food trucks who'll be selling awesome food, putting up a stage, and rocking out to some great music from two fantastic Tennessee bands-- Nashville's Great Peacock and Jackson's The Kernal.
And as if this weren't enough reason to come party down on Normal Ave, this year we're raising money for the Public Education Foundation of Chattanooga! All net proceeds from this event will go to the PEF and help support our local public schools. A suggested minimum donation of $10 per person can be made at any time before or during the event-- if you plan to come and enjoy the evening, please make a donation and help us meet our goal. And even if you can't make it, any donations are appreciated.
The Normal residents are very excited to have you join us. It's going to be a great evening of good times, good tunes, good food, and good friends. Please join us, share the event pages, and encourage your friends to donate to a great cause!
