Our heroine has finally gotten her act together, or so she thought. When she ends up on the romantic trip of a lifetime in Bali with the woman of her dreams, she is on the verge of having everything she wants
:and she's on the verge of destroying it all.  Will she be able to put the past behind her to get her fairytale ending?

As DOMA and Prop 8 are debated in the Supreme Court, "No Need for Seduction" takes an exquisite, insightful and hilarious look at the question:  "Are you committed?"

The creative team includes set design by Sarah Lambert, lighting design by Steven Battaglia and production images by Jennifer E. Koltun.

Victoria Libertore has followed her passion to connect with people through performance throughout her 15 years in New York City.   She combines theater, dance and storytelling and uses humor, the element of surprise, precise physicality and emotional honesty to dive into taboo subjects that tend to make audiences both laugh and cry.  The ultimate goal in her work is for people to feel a part of and know they're not alone in whatever they've faced in life.  For Victoria's full bio, please go to http://www.howlingvic.com/bio.php

This piece covers a sweeping tale:  queer women from different generations embark on a trip of a lifetime to an exotic place only to have their emotional wounds turned upside down:  fear of intimacy, mental illness and childhood abuse all emerge as the Universe asks our heroine, "Are you committed?"  Victoria has built her career handling dark material with searing honesty, poetry and humor.

Note from Victoria:  I've been sustaining myself as an artist in New York City for 15 years making work with the support of Downtown venues and the support of friends and donors.  I feel so incredibly passionate about this show, and using this story to connect with others so that they know they're not alone in the hardest part of their journeys and their darkest parts which they may keep hidden and therefore feel isolated.  We can connect through live theater with laughter and tears and understanding and relating.  It's one of our society's last forms of shamanism.  True healing can occur in theater.  I have a vision of paying everyone fairly and to have money available to launch this show forward after this run.  I have a vision of those of you who have been a part of my journey all of these years being a part of this show because it truly comes from the deepest place in my heart.
