The U15 (2002) Boys OPDL Team of the North Toronto Soccer Club (Nitros) is seeking your support to send our soccer team to attend international tournaments to showcase their talent.
This team plays at the top tier of soccer play in Ontario and are ranked #1 in their league at the moment. Many of the boys screen into the Provincial Soccer Program every year.
These boys are very committed and driven to succeed. They work hard through a year round training schedule including technical training 3-4 times per week, fitness and strength training, and a game every week from May – November.
They are also developing skills that will positively impact all aspects of their lives.
We think their hard work, commitment and drive deserves to be rewarded and encouraged with opportunities for international exposure.
Our travel goals are to generate scholarship or professional soccer opportunities and to foster team bonding and personal growth.
We have immediate plans to attend the ESPN Disney Showcase Tournament in Orlando, Florida, USA in December 2017. We also hope to get to a tournament in Europe in 2018.
All funds will be used to cover the costs of travel for the players and coaches.
