Nick's (Ilias) recovery fund!

On Friday, November 10th, in the blink of an eye, our friend Nicholas was felled by a massive stroke. Fortunately, Nick felt the effects coming on and sought help from a neighbour who quickly came to his aid and transported him to nearby St. Michael's Hospital. The effect of the stroke has impacted Nick and his right arm and leg are paralyzed and his speech has been affected.

On Tuesday, November 21st, Nick was transferred to Bridgepoint Active Healtcare in Toronto. Bridgepoint is a leading provider of stroke rehabilitation care where he will get the focused attention to get him back on the road to recovery.

Our pal Nick is going to be facing an unknown path forward. How long will the road to recovery be, who knows. What will he need, we don't know. What we do know is that this giant personality, with a heart of gold and the ultimate gift of gab, deserves our help.

This endeavour is here for those of us who want to help but don't know how. The funds raised will go to support Nick's needs (that doesn't include Gin or Leaf's tickets) to care and support his recovery. 

Everyone knows that Nick would give the shirt off his back to help a friend. Keep your shirt, give with your heart and show him how much we care.
