Greetings Jamaican Musher Fans
We be mushin' with Newton in 2013...Ya Mon! Thanks to everyone who helped so far we were able to buy all the dog booties for Newton's drop bags. He is busy packing them now to turn in on Thursday!
WE DO STILL NEED HELP to reach our goal of $5,500!
One hurdle over, but WE ARE NOT AT THE START LINE YET on March 2nd! We still need to meet the original goal if at all possible... We have a $1,000 dog kibble bill, $1,000 meat bill, and need $400 to ship the crates to Nome ahead of the dogs, and about $700 to fly the dogs back from Nome, $400 for doggie leg protectors for rough sugar snow, $150 for doggie "down-under" protection for our eight males on the team, and a few more odds and ends of gear and snacks for the trail.

Again - Newton is starting from scratch this year to get back on the trail to run Iditarod 2013. Meaning - no Jimmy Buffett or Margaritaville this time. He's running a new team out of a new kennel, and needs help. If he doesn't raise enough funds soon, he'll have a hard time getting to Nome.
