FB Live Post for small towns
Wharton, TX was hit especially hard, and even those who don't live in Wharton make a living in Wharton and surrounding flooded areas.
I decided one thing that I can do is to use the network of friends and family who know me and my heart to get cash money directly into the hands who need it most. I will directly donate this money to others in Wharton who are helping local people in need.
Your donation will go 100% to those in need. As soon as I get the donations, I'll start handing them out. UPDATE for the GoFundMe people who think that your money is their money:
The "Customer Happiness team" approved the campaign, but the "Community Management team" felt that the "campaign required some additional information due to the vague delivery method outlined in your campaign Story." After contacting the CEO they finally provided specific information on what they felt was lacking. So here you have it:
Specifically the funds will be cash distributions in lump sums of $100-$500 to those in shelters, and to those identified as in need by local support groups, and another campaigner gf.me/u/cptsjy who will help with the community.
I've already been given seed money and the RV Park Owner is donating all space fees from evacuees to this fund.
I am so greatful to have friends and family who care and want to share the Hope that they have. I want to help share that Hope with those in desperate need.
Thanks and Blessings to all of you who care.
