Holistic Medical Care for FurBabies

1.     In 2005, when my partner at the time and I got a house and a yard, we decided we wanted Nessa to have a companion. 

Luna was not as lucky as Nessa to be in the NO KILL SHELTER. 

I found her in the pound.   Infested, injured, barely able to stand.  The shelter wanted to put her down even after I said I would take her because they didn’t think she would survive being spayed.   But I knew she deserved to have a full and happy life.
Even as a small helpless puppy in the back of a cage she had a light that drew me to her.  I fought for her & made a deal with a vet tech at the pound and we saver her life. 

I have called her the Benjamin Button of Dogs because it took so much time

for me to get her back to health form her malnourished & neglected puppy-hood.   She was two before she was able to “run” at “Full Speed”  but its all been worth it!!

I have had Nessa , has always had an air of confidence and regal essence about her presence.  She is a kind guiding mother dog to many of my friends puppies.  People bring their pups to me to have her rear them in manors and dignity ;) 

She gave Luna that gift as well.


2.     SO to cut to chase with what is happening with each of them:

Nessa – arthritis in her front elbows, and a neurological issue that cases her to walk like she is drunk and not be able to walk very far.  This could be either a misdiagnosed ear infection or some deeper neurological issue

Luna - arthritis, under-functioning kidneys that have caused her to develop Lymphoma

Here is the kicker with this – they are just still well to call it quits & I cant let them live untreated when I know their quality of life can be improved with the right care. 

3.     SO I am switching them over to holistic Vet- IF YOU HAVE A PET DO THIS NOW, ITS FUCKING AMAZING!!! And the dogs respond so well to it!!

I cook for them now & they only eat meat and veggies.

They have additional supplements and herbs.
Its working already, and they vet has developed packages of care that cap the cost and keep us on a schedule. 

Now I just need a some help form my community to balance out some of the cost for the kids. 

I know, this price tag seems crazy!! And its possibly not even enough for if they keep doing well and living longer Ill have to extend the care and thus the cost & I with the improvements I’ve already seen, I think that will happen.
