AISP Nepal Medical Relief Trip

I have been visiting Nepal and volunteering in villages and schools there for over 4 years. After the recent devastating earthquake in Nepal, hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children in villages and towns across Nepal are still at risk for disease, death, and illness, with many not receiving aid. Their entire villages have been destroyed along with livelihoods and ability to make money or even go to school. We are looking to send a 7 person medical team to Nepal to assist with care and essential aid ( like water purification and shelter building) in these rural places, and relive those already on the ground, with potential for additional team members to provide comfort and support to the youth there.

My name is Josh Korb, I am a firefighter/emt living in the SF Bay Area and I will be leading the medical team along with amazing, highly qualified, talented, and selfless individuals, with a goal of leaving before May 18th.  We are looking for any assistance to help buy gear for our team for camping in the wilderness there and staying safe such as water filters, goggles, water boilers, sleeping pads, headlamps, gloves, wet gear, as well as more medical supplies and tarps for shelter for the villagers. With time working against us as well as the seasons, we'll need to move fast to make an impact there.
