Nelson's Bone Marrow Transplant Fund

Nelson (34), was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow cancer) early this year (2013) and has to undergo a bone marrow transplant as a matter of urgency.
His treatment started in April and is fast eating into their savings. He is currently undergoing infusion therapy. It will continue for another couple of months.
"The doctors have put him on Thalidomide medication which costs US$1400 a month, but as a long term measure he urgently needs to undergo stem cell transplant in India. This alone costs US$25 000 and there is airfare and post surgery treatment costs to contend with.
"Time is running out. I don't know what will happen to my family if I am gone," Nelson echoed. He is married and has 3 daughters aged 11 years and twins aged 7.
