NHS Swimming Million Yard Challenge

The Needham Boys Swimming and Diving Team is embarking on our third annual Million Yard Challenge Fundraiser!  We are raising money to support our team as well as our community.  We will be holding a can drive and a portion of our proceeds will be donated to the Needham food pantry.  During the holiday season, it is important for us as a team to support those in our community who are in need.

During our 8 team practices from December 23 to January 2, we will swimming as individuals but working as a team to complete 1,000,000 yards. That's over 24,000 yards or 13 miles per swimmer!
We would appreciate a donation of any amount towards our goal. To make donating more fun, here are some numbers to consider:

$11 - that's one dollar for each meet in which we are participating as a team this season;

$24 - that's three dollars for each practice we are having during the Challenge;

$41 - that's one dollar for every member of our team;

$94 - the number of points it takes to win each meet.

Any amount is welcome and greatly appreciated.
If you do not wish to donate online, feel free to send cash or a check made out to "Needham Swim Boosters" with your favorite swimmer.
