For years now, Humans vs. Zombies has swept the world's college and universities as a unique and engaging campus event. Human players desperately struggle to survive games of a week or more as more and more of their friends are tagged and become human-tagging zombies in turn.
Now, a group of game organizers from around the nation are bringing their unique visions to bear on an Invitational game that's truly meant to entice players from every corner of the United States. This is Nation vs. Zombies.
Planned for JUNE 24-26, 2016, Nation vs. Zombies will be a massive game hosted on Missouri State University's campus in Springfield, Missouri.
The moderators are hard at work. The players from around the country are excited at the opportunity. Over 900 players have RSVP'd as 'Interested' or 'Attending.'
It should be made clear that Nations vs. Zombies will move forward with or without additional funding. However, we want to maximize the event as much as possible, and our fundraising goal here will allow us to purchase infrastructure for the event.
Who are you people?
As stated above, we're former game organizers who just can't get zombie-on-human mission creation out of our system. We have thousands of hours of combined experience from a range of both stylistically and geographically diverse games.
So...where is the money going?
We have a number of potential items in mind, including:
-Bandannas provided for all players, which is essential to gameplay.
-We're getting quotes on small to medium size canvas cover tents to act as a moderator HQ. This will act as a better meeting point where players can approach organizers with questions and concerns, where organizers can readily meet between event phases to coordinate throughout the event, and so on.
-Any number of props, costumes, and even building materials that might allow us to bring something fun to the table for a unique and memorable event experience.
