To some of you I am Nathaniel and to others I am Coach Pooh, whoever I am to you listen closely because I need your help!
The past 5 years I've battled weight loss. At my highest weight I was 508lbs and at my lowest weight in the 380's. However I've been unsuccessful in keeping the weight off.
At a September Dr. appointment my physician recommended to me that I have a gastric bypass due to growing health concerns related to morbid obesity. I told her that I wanted to try to lose the weight on my own and I set out to do so. I soon realized that I could not do it alone and that this was a disease I needed help with.
On Tuesday, November 26, 2013 my surgery date was set for December 20, 2013. I will be having a Roux-en-Y gastric bypass procedure which will result in my new stomach pouch being the size of my thumb. This will limit the amount of calories I am able to consume resulting in weight loss and better health.
My Insurance company has approved me for surgery but the insurance company does not cover 100% of my expenses associated with the surgery. I'm hoping you can help me to reach my goal of $1500 by Tuesday, December 4th, 2013. Your contribution will be used to cover my pre and post operation expenses associated with the surgery.
