Nate Raaka's hit and run

Our good friend/brother Nate was involved in a felony hit-and-run on Saturday May 20, 2017.
He was driving his motorcycle in P.B. and someone made an illegal U-turn over a median and Nate hit the unexpected vehicle and was ejected into the air and landed in the road way. He almost severed his leg completely at the knee. Luckily the doctors say with extensive care and physical therapy, he will hopefully able to save his leg. He is in post opperation as of now. He has had to have steel rods, pins, and a bone graph 2 times. He will need a plastic sergeon to do a skin graph, then he will need to be in physical therapy, then will need a nurse when he gets home. In 6 weeks or so he will need another bone graph. Doctors say it's about 60/40 he will keep his leg. :(
Not only that, but they are still looking for the person who hit him.
Nate needs some help since he will be out of work for an unknown amount of time. He told me that I could make him a "Go Fund Me" page as long as I noted that he does not want anyone who is struggling to put up any money. He understands that it's hard for many right now and he "won't accept money from people who might be struggling." He can't work for awhile though, so anything to help would be greatly appreciated.

"The driver of the Jeep got out of his vehicle, ran toward the victim but then turned around and got back into the Jeep and fled, officials said.
The suspect is described as a male of unknown race wearing a blue shirt.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a 2014 or newer silver colored Jeep Grand Cherokee with a possible rear yellow paper plate or out-of-state plate. The Jeep sustained moderate rear-end damage including a shattered rear windshield.
