Natanya Joy Mallin grew up in Durango, Colorado. This former Animas Valley Husky, Miller Angel, Durango Demon, and Fort Lewis Skyhawk, has evolved into a beautiful 27-year-old woman. Natty Joy has the sharp, intuitive, and incredibly strong spirit of a tiger; which you already know if you've had the pleasure of meeting her.
Unfortunately, the stage IV sarcoma (synovial) inside her body is a cancer that is almost as unique as she is. Her seven-year slew of medical emergencies began with a car accident in front of Durango High School. Natanya has suffered 7surgeries, a removal of her right lung, and countless scans and x-rays. Recently, radiation and chemotherapy have been added to her chart after tumors spread from under her surgical scars.
