Nash Family House Fire

Hi. My name is Guyla and I am starting a fundraising event to help some friends of mine who live in Enterprise, Oregon. Ken and Annie Nash lost their home and belongings yesterday after they survived a devestating house fire. I don't know any of the details at this point but here is a Facebook post from yesterday that their daughter Chelsie Gray posted.
"I feel the need to briefly say a few words since everyone knows. First, and the most important, "my mom and dad are safe." We are blessed to have such an abundance of love and support. The fire dept was able to safety get out of the house, and showed so much support. Prayers are appreciated. 35 yrs gone.... Thanks to all who helped, & inhaled smoke along side my dad, brother, husband & neighbor Erl,Joe Stangel & myself, and Ramona & Riley comforting my mom...Riley shouldered so much, so bravely for a sick girl staying home to get rest today. Again, we are truly blessed to have my parents safe."

I used to live in this town and have gone to church with this amazing family. From what I know, Ken has made his living by farming and fighting forest fires. In fact, I have personally worked on a few fires with him in years past. Ken would never take a hand out because he is always the one giving and serving. I feel like this is the least we can do for them for all that they have done for others! He and his wife are wonderful people with true integrity and compassion. They have raised their children with these same principles and values. I truly don't know of anyone more deserving. They are the most faithful, humble, kind, and hardworking family I have EVER met.
A life of memories and hard work are gone just like that...
Please oh please donate what you can. Lets join our hearts and try to help them piece back together what they have lost....
