Final expenses for Nancy Herring

  I find it to be an amazing and rare thing in life when you find a friend that you can call family. I find it even more rare and amazing when that friends family also becomes your family. For over 10 years now I have had the honor of calling Nick Herring, or as most of us so lovingly know him as, Buddha, my family. In the decade plus of enjoying any type of crazy life adventure you could think of, Buddha's family has in turn become mine.

Well the other night, after a long battle with COPD, I lost a member of my family. Regardless of what you called her, Nancy, Buddha momma, or simply Momma as I did, she loved us all. Over the years hundreds of us walked through the doors of the Herring house. If you were fortunate enough to have met momma consider yourself blessed. If you didn't,I'm sorry, she truly was an amazing woman. One that will not be forgotten by any of the " children" that passed through her home.

I have seen the outpouring of love and sentiments that everyone has shared on Facebook in condolences of the loss of this amazing woman. We're not asking for anything crazy. We understand if you can't help, but if you can it would mean the world to all of us. If every person that reacted to Nicks post about his mothers passing donated $25 we could pass our goal immediately. All we want is to be able to lay to rest our momma.
