Nursing Students Without Borders

The Nursing Students Without Borders club is going on a medical mission trip to Quito, Ecuador in August 2018. While in Ecuador we will have the opportunity to help at a variety of locations including: a public maternity hospital, government primary health clinic, tertiary care hospital, a nonprofit hospital, and an Indigenous medicine clinic. We will stay with host families in order to further immerse ourselves in the culture. For many of us, we have been looking forward to this trip for a very long time and believe it will be a once in a lifetime opportunity. It is expensive to go so we are hoping to fundraise as much as possible in order to lower each member’s cost and enable as many people to go as possible! We will be hosting many events until the trip to raise money, but also wanted to create this page to reach those that are not in the Manchester area. If we raise enough money for their trip, we will then use the leftover money to bring supplies to the people in Ecuador. Thank you for contributing!
