FRC Team #6027 To Buckeye Regional

Please help our team get to Cleveland for the FIRSTRobotics Regional competition with everything we need!
Our team, The Brain Waves #6027, will be competing in the Buckeye Regional on April 1st, 2017, in Cleveland, Ohio. We are raising money to pay for our event registration/kit of parts, supplies, and travel expenses.
We are building our robotics team from the ground up. Our school did not have a shop class or the tools required for fabrication. Last year, we used a parent's garage shop for most of our fabrication. Over the summer, we created an Innovation Center where the faculty lounge and a storage room used to be, which serves as a STEM classroom. We have since added a mill and a lathe to the room. We also started with zero supplies. We are in the process of stocking up on materials (aluminum tubing, nuts & bolts, taps, drills, ect). This is a large investment that we are planning to offest with money donated.
At last year's competition - our first! - we barely scraped by with few spare parts, few tools, and no place to make adjustments/repairs to our robot. We didn't even have proper transportation for the robot - he rode in the back of a minivan with some of the team. Despite all the hurdles, with only nine team members and no experience, we won the Rookie Inspiration Award at our first Buckeye Regional.
We come from a small school with an awesome community. These kids work so hard on this competition. They believe in themselves. Please show them that you believe in them, too, by donating to our fundraiser!
