Help Myya Beat Cancer!!

Donation protected

Myya is one of the brightest, most outgoing, and loving people I know. She and her husband have a beautiful 6 year old daughter, Tehya. When I first met Myya we instantly hit it off. I was pregnant, and she and Cody, her husband, were desperately trying to get pregnant. We would talk baby stuff for hours. A year later she came to me with the news. She was pregnant! She was so incredibly happy and excited. Tehya is the light in her life. She works so hard to provide for that little girl, and to give her the opportunity to live life to the fullest. A life filled with dance, horseback riding, family camping trips, and countless other activities. Myya showed interest in my career as a pharmacy technician and within a year finished an online course and passed her technician exam to become a certified pharmacy technician. She just recently took a new job at a VA hospital.

Myya has just found out some horrible news. Her next hurdle in life will be a treacherous battle against cancer. When she told me I could not believe it. She is so healthy and young, it just didn’t make any sense. She started getting sick a few months ago, and they finally did some tests, and found the cancer. She told me she will fight hard, and that she won’t give up. She is not ready to leave her husband and her baby girl. While this will be a long tough road, the help from her family, friends, and community will do wonders. What we as her support group cannot do, we will have faith that God will provide.

She is going to Arizona to the Cancer Institute of America. It is going to be extremely expensive between airfare, hotels, treatment, meds, etc. We would like to help lighten that burden so that they can concentrate on beating this thing, rather than have her mind occupied with the financial stress of it all. My husband and I are also putting on a fundraiser poker tournament in July (details are still in the works). Myya doesn’t want to leave her family with a bunch of medical bills, but she does want to do whatever it takes to fight and stay with her family and friends longer.

Myya has touched so many people's lives and it is not time for her to go. Please help us fight with her. Prayers and donations are welcome. Any amount helps because it all adds up! Word of mouth, or reposting this on your Facebook is also a HUGE help. We would like to ask that you share your thoughts and prayers in abundance. However, we would like to limit the direct contact with the family, as to be careful to not add undo stress. We know your hearts and motives would be pure, but sometimes endless calls and texts can be tiresome. If you have any questions please contact Aaron or Brianne Waldrop. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for considering helping this amazing woman and her beautiful family.
