Clem Guenther's Cancer Battle

This wonderful man is my Papa! His name is Clem Guenther. He is a US Army veteran and served as Quarter Master in Germany. His life long career was a cake decorator, baker and the owner of a well known bakery "The Cake Castle" for 30 years strong! I grew up in that bakery eating cookies and cupcakes til my belly hurt! My Papa even walked me down the aisle on my wedding day! We need your help for this awesome guy! He has stage 4 castration resistant metastasized prostate cancer that is treatment resistant, so that means the treatment will work for a while and then stop. Right now his numbers are climbing, which means the cancer is once again active, his wonderful doctor, Dr. Daniel Danila, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, New York would like to do a special injection, called Ga-HBED-CC-PSMA, that would pinpoint the smallest cancer cells in the body, before they would show up on a regular Petscan. However, the injection is not  yet FDA approved and therefore, doesn't have insurance coverage. Ga-HBED-CC-PSMA will help him and so many others in the future. They are working on getting FDA approval so others do not have to pay out of pocket for their injections.
