My sisters story:
I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer in May of 2011, and then in 2011 I had a full Thyroidectomy. Recently I had a full body scan done and regretfully my cancer has came back. I will be seeking RadioActive Iodine Treatment soon. I need to stay in a hotel and away from my family for two weeks, just to make sure the RAI is totally out of my body before I can return home. Six months after my RAI treatment I will undergo another body scan to make sure the cancer has not spread elsewhere in my body. My Oncologist tells me it is more then likely that I will need another surgery done due to massive tissue that has grown back.
Please help us fund our sister so she can go back home to be with her family and continue to be there for her children. Any amount is never too small, we would gladly accept any generosity you can offer.
