Alan Miller Medical Bills & Therapy

My dad Alan Miller has unfortunately suffered a unexpected life changing event. His aortic valve burst (he had aortic stenosis) and he was only given a 20% chance of surviving the surgery to replace his aortic valve. If not for a little luck and being in the right place at the "wrong" time my dad would have died. He survived the surgery but was not completely out of the woods when fate struck again... my dad suffered a debillitating stroke. He is partially paralyzed on his right side with limited mobility and only has partial vision in his right eye. Through hard work and G-d's will he is here today and on the road to recovery. But, his road has been rocky and expensive. So I am asking my friends and their friends to help out. He is unable to work, he can't drive, he can't even perform most everyday tasks we all take for granted, something so simple and things that come naturally to us is difficult and sometimes nearly impossible for him to do. To top it all off, he has been denied disabilty from the government. So, the medical bills keep piling up and his treatments have been discontinued. He is unaware I started this account for he has always been the type to never ask for help and it is with great regret that I am resorting to the internet to raise money to help my father continue his therapy and to help pay the mounting doctor bills.  I feel I have no other choice. We are very thankful that my dad is alive and we want him to be around for a long time to come.
