My Emergency Eye Surgery

I have a rare genetic inherited mutation called distichiasis, which means that I have two rows of lashes instead of one. It’s usually harmless, but sometimes my lashes grow towards my eyeballs and can cause really bad abrasions, like they are now, which can be permanent if the follicle is not removed. It keeps irritating the cornea and could lead to partial blindness in that area.

And because of this, I have to do have it treated very, very quickly. In days. It’s going to cost about 1K and my insurance won’t cover it.
