Juniors Funerals Expenses
Donation protected

Our beloved Enrique Vega passed away this Easter Sunday from complications of Covid-19. Although the family is hurting, we are also rejoicing as the symbolism of this day is undeniable. We know he is alive and well in the kingdom of heaven, enjoying the fruits of all his hard work, dedication, and Faith sowing across the nation.
“Junior”, as many knew him was a man that impacts you from the very beginning with his signature radiating smile followed by the warmest embrace you will ever find. He was a mentor to many, a brother to a handful, a son to loving parents, a father to a lucky few, an outstanding Abuelo, a devout and loving husband, and an immovable object in his love for the Lord.
Junior, we will all miss you dearly and I know that there are so many people that just want to say thank you for everything you've done to positively impact their lives. In his community Enrique stood as a man of impeccable integrity and was loved by many for his selfless devotion to those in need. As a first responder he aided those in crises during his nearly twenty years as Director of the Bronx Chapter of the American Red Cross and served as Chair of the public safety committee for his local community board.
Two things always resonated across anything Enrique would touch, his etherial love for his family and his burning love of his service to God. Enrique served as Co-Pastor at Second Bethel Christian Church for many years where he forever changed and inspired many lives.
From all of us whom you had even the slightest impact on, we just want to say “We love you" for everything and everyone whose life you made better with simply a few words, a few nods, or more importantly for being someone who just listens without judging. I'm certain, if we are even a quarter of the man you were we will be seeing you again in God's kingdom.
This GoFundMe campaign is to do just that, to allow us the ability to have a proper burial for Enrique Vega, and pay our respects one last time on this Earth. All proceeds will go directly to aiding the family on this grand final chapter in Enrique Vega's journey.
