My Father needs helps

My father who currently lives in Thailand with his wife and one year old adopted daughter is having serious heart troubles and requires an immediate surgery here in Seattle at the VA Hospital.

I am raising money to help him obtain an airplane ticket as well as cover some of his existing medical costs that he has racked up while in Thailand hospitals.

For those of you who do not know my father, Jerry Sr., he originally moved to Thailand back in 2005 seeking alternative treatment after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.  The doctors in Hawaii had at the time had only given him only weeks to live, stating that due to his past heart issues they were unable to treat him for the cancer.

Six years later, he is alive and kicking and has successfully beaten the cancer with the help of his faith and Chinese medicine.  His cancer is now in full remission; however his heart continues to be problematic and requires another surgery. 

Doctors have determined that one of the stints that was placed recently in his heart is now failing and requires immediate surgery.

Although Thailand provides medical treatment for its citizens however my father is not a citizen (despite marrying a Thai woman and recently adopting a child) so the cost for this surgery is astronomical.

My father is a veteran so he can get the surgery here in the states at the VA hospital so it's just a matter of getting him here and getting him into the VA hospital as soon as possible.  Time is of the essence.

All the money collected will go towards flying him back to Seattle for the surgery as well as help his Thai family with the remaining costs of living, additional medical bills, etc. that they are left with.
