An update on Murray…
After a long 7 months of waiting, Murray took the trip to WSU for his follow up MRI. We were all so hopeful for good news…but no one more than Kristy, who’s birthday was the very next day. It would have been the best birthday gift ever. Sadly, the news was anything but good. The tumor that sits on Murray’s brain stem has grown, and will likely continue to grow. The very real problem with this is that there’s no more room for it to grow. The doctor has given Murray 3-6 months…unless he has surgery. Murray needs all the help he can get, please continue to send your thoughts, prayers and donations to help keep this amazing corgi stay alive.

Murray continues to struggle each day. The fluid on his brain stem causes his head to tilt and he's very unstable when he walks. His family it trying to get him back to WSU for another follow up MRI very soon. Please help this little guy beat this!

Murray is a 1year old Corgi that has brought so much love and life to not only his family but now a village of warrior’s. Murray is part of Kristy and Jim’s family and has been battling, what they thought was a ruptured disc for several months.  As you know vet visits, medications and bills add up.  Murray was not improving so Kristy traveled to the AMAZING WSU teaching vet hospital to receive wonderful care by the BEST! The plan was FIX MURRAY.  The exam uncovered that it was not disc related, but was brain related….. After a MRI the diagnosis was 2 abscesses on his brain.  He went in for surgery and was treated by high dose antibiotics to kill the infection.  The infection was from a grass seed that he ingested that caused an infection in his sinus cavity and then traveled to the little guy’s brain.  Murray survived the operation and is doing much better.  The outpour of LOVE and support for this family is incredible!  Murray has a bit of a challenge for the next 6 months with medical bills, medications and travels back to WSU for checkups.  Murray is a family member and when he is down and out and in pain, his family is right there with him.  The cost of this endeavor and the future costs are climbing.  Any amount is appreciated and the smile and look on Murray's face says it all.
