Muklat Maasai school, Arusha

Donation protected
My Maasai friend Lomayani lives in Muklat village, near Arusha.  2 weeks ago I suggested to him that he start a school to teach the children English.  Lomayani didnt go to school because in Tanzania you have to pay to go.  He learned English from watching movies on TV.
To my amazement, he took my advice and has started a school.  In November I am going for 2 weeks to teach him how to teach English (as I have taught English in Spain).  As you can see the children need benches, a table, a cement floor, books, pens, and a blackboard for the teacher!  It will cost me £1000 for my trip, I am paying for that.  But we need a contribution to the other things.  Very few Maasai children get to go to school or to learn English.  They speak Maa, their special language.  They then continue in poverty.  With English they can get work as guides, rangers, and in the tourist industry.  They can also access the internet and learn.
Any small amount is most welcome.  I am leaving on 12th January and would love to be able to take funds to provide the things needed.
I am contributing because I care about these children and their future.  Can you be kind enough to do the same?
