<div>This is Ms. Wendy and I really need your help!! With anything you could do to help with my day to day. I only receive SSDI which is $1,275 a month my rent is $1,200 a month that doesn't even cover the things I need from day to day and now they put me on a new program witch doesn't include transportation How I'm suppose to get to PT????? I would also like to move to a Disabled friendly apartment, with a bathroom I can actually use, I have a commode next to my bed, it really sucks!! Having to have someone empty that!!! After having 10 surgeries it left me a double above the knee amputee, I came home in a wheelchair, and then I recieved my shinny new Prosthetic Legs. I thought I could pop them on and start walking, But Hell No this has been a journey for years. Ive been strength training at NRH Hospital, witch I can not say an abundence of praise for, I stayed there voluntarily for 15 days after I lost my right leg above the knee, and then again after I got my right leg amputated and had recieved both of my new legs Let me tell you how hard it was!!! WOO HOO Ive been strength training and going to PT 2 times a week and I still can't propel myself without assistance. But I have moved up to walking sticks, and I walked down K st to the corner with no assistance from my therapist!! But Believe me I still can't walk for long I still need my wheelchair behind me to sit down when I get tired and just can't go any further!! But Ive keep a positive attitude and Im very Determined Person, So Please If you can help me out in any way that would be great and very much appreciated!!
