Ms. P in D.C. at the USHMM!

Hello! Thank you for stopping by my donation page. My name is Bethany, and I am an educator in Minnesota. One of my passions is providing learning experiences for my stuendts that take us out of the classroom and into the world around us. My hope in creating this campaign is to raise funds so that I may be able to attend a professional development training for Holocaust Educators at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. 

I want to continue the work that I started with the USHMM last year by returning this year to learn more about how I can help students better understand what it means to, "Think about what they saw." My work with the USHMM has afforded my students the opportunity to meet amazing individuals like author and Holocaust survivor Inge Auerbacher and Mauthausen Concentration Camp liberator Dr. Joe Iverson. It is my hope that my continued work with the USHMM will allow me to become a museum fellow in the coming years. 

Please help me reach my goal of $1000!! All funds will go towards airfare and hotel costs. I am open to providing some one on one teaching about the Holocaust to your student, to come to your organization and speak about the Holocaust, or even do some odd jobs if you have anything that needs to be done. The dates of the trip are July 11-15.
