Hi Everone,
As you may or may not know, I've been battling stage 4 colon cancer since September, 2013. At first there was some success in trying to beat it but over the last year and a half, the tumor has mutated and grown.
The one tumor that was in my right lung is now 7 tumors in my right lung, 6 in my left lung, and 5-6 in my liver (I can't remember which). My weight is down to less than 85 pounds.
My goal is to raise $28,000 to get to the Gerson Institute in Mexico. They have a very high success rate with people that the doctors haven't given much hope to. The costs will cover travel expenses for a companion and me (mandatory to bring someone), 3 weeks stay with all food, lodging, doctor's care/monitoring, training on how to implement this at home, and some of the appliances I need to purchase to implement the program. It will also cover the medical costs from the Carson-Tahoe Regional Hospital and Ambulance rides I have incurred.
This is kind of a last ditch effort to get better. The doctors really don't have much hope for survival unless I do high doses of chemo, but they have also said I won't survive the high doses of chemo.
Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
