Funds for my father's long term acute care

My father Mr. Om Prakash Agrawal suffered a heart attack followed by heart failure in August 2022. Heneeds funds to continue his care in the long-term acute care facility. He has come to the United States on May'2022 and had a return ticket planned for November'2022. On the 13th of August, he suffered a heart attack due to blockage in the main artery (LAD). He underwent angioplasty but his health became critical after two days due to pulmonary edema (sudden flush of water in lungs) and was put on ventilator life support. He was on a ventilator for more than three weeks, and on 2nd September'2022, he was extubated (ventilator removed).

He is still in critical care at the hospital due to complications in the last 4-5 weeks He is severely deconditioned and the doctors have suggested shifting him to a long-term acute care facility for rehabilitation, monitoring, conditioning and improving his health so his condition can improve enough to get his flight back to India.

The family is managing to cover hospital expenses, however as his health insurance has limited coverage, we are raising this campaign for funds to help him get further care at a long-term acute care facility.

We would like to take him back to India as and when it is safe to do so and will undergo recovery and treatment there. However, as per the doctor, he cannot travel back until he gains strength and responds to therapies.
