THE BRIDE:
I was diagnosed with Midline Carcinoma at the age of 16 and my doctor gave me a 5% chance to live. I endured aggressive radiation and chemotherapy for an entire year. I didn't think I would survive past my high school graduation, let alone walk down a wedding aisle. I have been in remission for 6 years now; I am so grateful that God gave me another chance at life. I recently learned from my doctor that I am currently the only survivor of this rare cancer.
I was fearful that I wouldn't find someone who would love me unconditionally despite my radiation scars and complicated medical history. I am ecstatic that God brought Drayontae into my life to love, cherish, and nurture me. He was my spiritual mentor; he brought healing into my life and taught me the principles of God. He helped me become the woman I am today. Through his mentorship, we became best friends, he read my mind and I his. What's amazing is that this was part of God's master plan. Drayontae is the person I've always dreamed to be with, but never knew existed. He truly is my other half. I don't know how I got along this far without him. I love that guy!
THE GROOM:
Ruthia was my best friend and mentee . It took me a while to recognize that she was my wife. I guess she was so much classier and more unique than any woman I had ever met. We would talk about our future soul mates and how we wouldn't be able to talk as much when we got married because our spouses would get jealous. I’m pretty sure that God was up in heaven laughing saying "You fools, I made you for one another." As time went by we began to recognize that we were meant for one another and we began to fall in love. We surrendered to God and we surrendered to love. She is my true love and she brings the best out of me!
FUTURE MR. & MRS. FULLER:
We are getting married on February 21, 2015! We need all the help that we can get to pay for our wedding ceremony, reception, and honeymoon.
