Move Forward in life with cycling
Cycling can change a young person’s life in many different ways; by improving their physical and emotional health. As an Eco school, we aim to promote a healthy cycling culture and give young people a sustainable way of transportation to other nearby sports activities. It also encourages young people in our Camphill Community to develop relationships with their peers, empower themselves, improve their self-confidence and independence, connect with nature and learn the value of physical activity.
We want to help them Move Forward in life with cycling – literally!!
You can help us Move Forward by donating to us via www.gofundme.com. For every £600 that is donated, Sycamore House can purchase one regular bike for a young person. However, a donation of any amount is appreciated.
Sycamore House Bubble has been cycling for more than 50miles in September alone. Our youngsters have spend much time practising to use the bikes, trikes and tandems next to each other around Ochil Tower School’s extensive grounds, which is a residential school for children and young adults with additional support needs. At times it has been a challenge to manage to cycle together in close proximity and to understand the use of the bikes breaks has been essential. Since this had been achieved we went further afield and explored the local community of Auchterarder on our bikes. As we have to share the bikes with every other house and class of Ochil Tower School we feel that it is becoming more and more difficult to follow the safety guidance on social distancing from the government.

Please support us to purchase 5 bikes of our own. This will allow us to achieve our goal to cycle another 150miles by the end of this school year.
