Rick Muir Pancreatic Cancer Fund for MO

Donation protected
The month of November has become known as "Movember", an international movement for men everywhere to grow their mustaches in an effort to gain awareness for men's health. My father Rick Muir passed in April of 2009 of pancreatic cancer, he was diagnosed in early January and the cancer moved extremely fast taking him from us in the early morning of the 6th of April. I saw first hand the devastating power of Pancreatic Cancer. About 22,800 men will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2013 and around 19,400 men will pass of the cancer in 2013. And any diagnosis caught in stage two or further has a survival rate of less than 10%.
Last November was my first year using GoFundMe to help raise money and awareness for this great cause! Last year due to the awesome generosity and kindness of sooo many of my fathers friends as well as my own we raised $3700. My initial goal was $1500 and people around the world who donated hit that goal within the first WEEK! Then more than doubled it by the end of the month!
This Movember I ask you to help me reach my goal of $3000 to contribute to the Marc Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Foundation in an effort to help in funding important research to progress treatment, diagnosis and prevention of this terrible cancer. Thank you so much for your time and any contribution your able to give or maybe your own Movember mustache of your own!
