Help Fund the Lesotho Service Trip!
Donation protected
As most of you know I spent a couple months over the summers
of 2008 and 2009 in the small mountain kingdom of Lesotho in Africa. Before
going, the Wittenberg students and alumni fundraise so that each and every one
of the projects they do, from building playgrounds and community centers to holding
a carnival for the young patients at the Baylor AIDS clinic, can be done at no
cost to the Basotho (the residents of Lesotho).
Since coming back from Lesotho, I've often wondered what I, in the United States, can do to help support both the country that will always hold a place in my heart and the program that helped me get there. So I've decided to give one of the things that, for some, has defined me: my long hair. Here is where I can ask you to help me. My goal is to raise $2000 to buy the materials needed for the Wittenberg students to do the community service work that they do. If I can raise $2000 I will cut off all my hair. All of it. BUZZED!
I hope you are willing to help me, the students who will get to experience the magic of this country, and Lesotho. If you would like to help me with this project by volunteering it would also be greatly appreciated! Please contact me and we can talk about how you can help.
Please contact me if you have any questions! Thank you for your support!
