Hi everyone, my name is Morten Handest Høyer. I am a 23 year old Lacrosse player trying to fulfill my dream of representing Denmark at the 2018 World Lacrosse Championships in Netanya Israel.
For those who know me, I'm sure you are well aware of my passion and love for the sport of Lacrosse. I have been playing sports since I could walk. Ever since my teammate Nikolai Alexander Lund, put a stick in my hand, I have trained hard to get ready for World Lacrosse Championships. For me to help Denmark in Isreal would be the most significant accomplishment for me so far!
BUT I NEED YOUR HELP!
The cost to travel to the world games is very expensive for our team. The reality is that Lacrosse is a small sport in Denmark, and it costs around $5000 each for us to make the trip and represent our country.
Denmark is not yet a power house in the world lacrosse community. This means the players and teams are self-funded in order to attend the games this summer. Unfortunately being on a student/ part-time salary is probably not going to raise enough of the funds needed in time. This is where you come in and donate some money to a poor student, but I'm going to try and make it a little more fun.
This would also probably be my last chance for me playing at worlds, due to new FIL reforms.
Price break down: - Everything would be posted on Instagram with a shout out! (So please write your IG name)
- 25 kr. - 10 push ups
- 50 kr. - 10 weighted squats
- 100 kr. - 50 feet handstand walk
- 250 kr. - Workout "Karen" - 150 Wallball shots 20lbs for time
- 500 kr. - 5 k run, with 20 lbs weight west
- 1.000 kr. - Workout "Murph":
1 mile run
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 air squats
1 mile run
- 1.500 kr. - Personalized thank you letter after the games, with headshot and action photo.
If we reach 10.000 kr. I will post a video of me eating fermented Baltic herring. Hope everyone gets a good laugh ;)
