Since 1989, CUPS has helped Calgarians overcome adversity. Today, CUPS has evolved into an evidence-based organization that delivers trauma-informed care and support, building resilience in individuals, families and communities.
CUPS is rooted in the science of brain development, which tells us that the experiences we have shape our brains and affect our life outcomes - for better or for worse. It also tells us that anyone can become more resilient with the right support.
Based on this foundational knowledge, CUPS strategic plan positions our organization to help Calgarians achieve lasting self-sufficiency by delivering evidence-based, integrated care that is tailored to individuals and families.

64 students enrolled in their long-term Child Development program
232 families provided home visits, supports and counselling
306 parents completed parent education and support programs
673 families and individuals provided with long-term homes
