Meet Molly Lind. Mom to Nate(17), Noah(15) and Iris(11). Molly spends her days doing what moms do: shuffling between work, kid's schools, and home. Helping with homework and getting meals on the table. Cheering the kids on at baseball games, soccer games, piano recitals, band performances. Preparing for each new stage of life as her kids grow up. And Molly has Stage 2 Breast Cancer.
Generally speaking she has stage 2 breast cancer. There are many more details of course and she knows them all. An education no one wants. In recent weeks Molly's had mastectomy surgery and, one day after her oldest child Nate's graduation ceremoney, she had her first round of chemo. After three more rounds, she will need reconstruction surgery and then 5 years of hormone therapy.
Life doesn't stop coming at you when you have cancer. Amazing times and hard times. Our family has learned that Molly doesn't stop being "Molly" when she faces cancer. She continues to put a smile on at every occasion. At holiday gatherings, birthday celebrations, and high school graduations. She remains positive at the many doctors appointments, surgeries, and chemo-treatments.
This fund is to help pay for all the medical expenses that Molly's insurance doesn't cover. Our entire family appreciates any and all efforts to assist in covering the accumulation of costs from the very necessary medical treatments that are saving the life of Nate, Noah and Iris's mom!
