New Mollies Gift

Please help us in supporting our wish to donate a Cuddle Cot to Kaiser Westside medical - Labor and Delivery suite, in loving memory of our daughter.
On the 27th of May 2017 our beautiful baby girl, Mollie Florence Smith was born. She had 10 perfect little fingers and 10 perfect little toes. The chubbiest little checks and rosebud lips. A head full of beautiful red hair. She was so perfect and so beautiful.
Sadly, only the night before, at 39 weeks and 2 days we had been told our little Mollie's heart had stopped beating. Up until that day I'd had a wonderful complication free pregnancy and we had had a very healthy and happy little baby girl. We had heard her strong heart beating only a day before and were excited to be told I was in early labour and was already dilated at 6cm.
Though that day was filled with sadness and the most unimaginable grief ...it was also one of our happiest.
After I had given birth, we were able to hold our little girl. We smothered her in kisses, sang to her, danced with her and told her all about her big sister Aoife.
We told her how loved she is and how proud we were to be her mummy and dadddy.
We had her blessed , snuggled her with her little bunny , wrapped her tightly in her little pink blanket and then, we had to say goodbye.
We were blessed that we had that day. It is a day that we will cherish forever. Those memories will stay in our hearts for the rest of our lives. We were able to have 10 beautiful hours with our little girl before her tiny body just couldn't survive anymore.
So, in honour of our Mollie we would like to donate a Cuddle Cot to the amazing hospital where she was born. Unfortunately one had been not available to us at the time.
A Cuddle Cot is a cooling system used inside of a moses basket that is able to cool a stillborn babies body, therefor preserving it long enough to give the family the time they need to create some ever so precious memories. It is essentially the gift of a little bit of time.
Time is just so so precious in these moments and a cuddle cot is able to provide this gift when it is truely need the most.
Please help us to provide this gift in memory of our beloved baby girl Mollie.
