Mission Hawaii 2014

Last year I had the privilege to go on my first mission’s trip and it was an amazing opportunity to see God moving in another part of the world and to be a part of it. I’m happy to share with you that this summer I will be going again.
From July 22nd to August 5th 2014, I will be going to Hana, Hawaii on a mission’s trip with approximately 20 young adults from across the United States and Canada. During our stay, we will be preaching the gospel to the people who live in the town of Hana and we will be engaging in soul-winning through revival meetings. We will be used by God to help fulfill our great commission by bringing lost men and women to Jesus Christ. We will be ministering to the local Hawaiians through service projects and nightly meetings during my two week stay.
I’d like to ask you to pray for me and the group I’m going with before and during our mission’s trip. God will be with us, watching over us and keeping us safe and protected. Please pray that the hearts of the local Hawaiians are already being prepared to hear the gospel and for the salvation of their souls. Also pray for each of us on the team; that we would have travel mercies, boldness to preach the Word, strength to do the work and that we would be a light to all the people we meet. Your prayers are much appreciated.
The cost of this mission’s trip is $3050 US which equals to approximately $3500 CAD. I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting me with a financial contribution. If you feel led to contribute, there is a number of way’s you can. You may do so in person by cash or cheque made out to Joeanne Colonna. For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? (Romans 10:13-15)
And then He (Jesus) told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” (Mark 16:15)
