FCS Mission Trip to Ecuador

Fellowship of Christian Students is a student organization on the campus of Kalamazoo College that aims to serve others and show the love of Christ. The group has previously taken small mission trips to places such as Chicago however the group now looks to serve in a place that has a much bigger need: Hogar para Sus Ninos (A place for His Children) an orphanage near Quito, Ecuador. The Orphanage houses children from toddlers to teenagers that have been abandoned or could not be cared for by their parents. Fellowship of Christian Students hope to go to A Place for His Children and serve in any capacity that we can. We will be planning activities and games for the older children, and caring for the younger toddlers. We will also be assisting in updates such as painting and construction that need to be done to sustain the functionality of the building. We hope that serving will be a humbling experience that brings glory to the Lord and we hope that partnering with others to accomplish this goal will be a shared experience that will remind us all of how blessed we truly are.
