My journey as Miss Black Nevada USA 2012 has been beyond amazing! Inspiring young people to pursue careers in the medical field through promoting my platform, "Be The Cure," has given me the opportunity to touch the lives of countless people here in the Las Vegas community, across the country, and even overseas. I am so honored to be the reigning Miss Black Nevada 2012 and to also serve as a positive role model in our community.
In just a couple of weeks, August 8th through August 13th, I will be competing for Miss Black USA 2012 in Washington D.C. I look forward to this exciting journey in my quest for the national crown!
