2013 Mira Mesa Chargers- Q-Bowl Champs!

The current Mira Mesa Chargers Junior Midget team (6th and 7th graders) currently holds the title of West Coast Champions. Last year the team won the San Diego Q Bowl and traveled to Las Vegas to win the Western National Championship.
This year the Chargers have a new goal: win the Q Bowl again (Which they just did last Saturday!!!) and travel to Florida for the National Championship. Just the shear expense of getting 31 football players along with the coaching staff out to the tournament is daunting. We have to raise $1,000 per kid in a few months to get them out there. The kids are working hard not only on the field but also off the field to try to raise the money they need.
